Purchased with a new furnace. Installation was easy great instructions, very easy setup. Really great that the family can program the ecobee for time away from the house, vacations, sleep or just bump the heat up or down from your smart phone or tablet.

After waiting 26 days to get my Effinity 93 110000 btu unit, I installed it only to find out the propeller fan was very noisy. It is louder than my air compressor. Modine will not honor the warranty unless you use a professional installer. If you are a do it yourselfer, don't buy this unit. The propeller motor is cheap and creates a lot of vibration noise. Even if the motor was replaced under warranty, it would still be the same noisy motor. If you want to be able to talk in the vicinity... more

I bought this in-line fan to pump warm air into a chase containing hot and cold water pipes. When outdoor temperatures drop below 15 degrees Fahrenheit, the air in the chase falls below freezing, so I was worried that the pipes would freeze. This little fan together with flex duct (I stripped away the outer insulation) solved the problem. I have a thermostat in the chase and a control system that turns on the fan when the chase temperature drops below 40 degrees F. Now I can spend time... more
