I replaced a Dunkirk XEB-3 (20 yrs. old) with the Dunkirk boiler above. The new one is all most identical to the old one, that is the pipes were located same as the old, so gas and water lines were easily plumbed. The old electrical wires could be used although lengthened to connect to the digital controls. The circulators location has changed, it's still provided with its wiring provided. Venting is the same as the old one. I was happy to get another Dunkirk that installed easily.

5-star I Ordered A New Boiler, You Delivered . . .peace Of Mind! Aug 07, 2016

Well, last winter the old boiler sprung several pin hole sized leaks and shortly thereafter it failed. I started doing research and found your website, used your calculator and made the purchase. Once delivered, my wife and I took over from there with the installation. We went from an old,... more

5-star A Great Little Fan Sep 01, 2016

I bought this in-line fan to pump warm air into a chase containing hot and cold water pipes. When outdoor temperatures drop below 15 degrees Fahrenheit, the air in the chase falls below freezing, so I was worried that the pipes would freeze. This little fan together with flex duct (I stripped away the outer insulation) solved the problem. I have a thermostat in the chase and a control system that turns on the fan when the chase temperature drops below 40 degrees F. Now I can spend time... more
