So far this seems like a terrific unit. We bought it primarily for heating. We spoke with a professional local installer who was terrific. They let us do some of the things to save costs. It's really easy if you can drill a hole through your wall. Love this unit! Installed in the fall, it cools well yet can put out satisfyingly uncomfortable amounts of heat when it's 20F outside and throttles down very low to match demand. Thermostat is rather unintuitive to use all its features and you have only one set of temps in auto mode, but if you don't mind switching from heat mode to cool mode yourself you can program it any way you like. Replaced the old unit with the new Goodman GSX13 - 2.5 ton. Would you believe it's so quiet you can hardly hear it run? The old one was noisy. This is one of the best units I have used. I will buy Goodman from hear on. Thank you goodman.
