This was just installed recently in mild temperatures so I can't comment on how well it can heat and cool my small structure but based on the air temp it should work pretty well. I bought this because it is a newer unit with a slightly higher SEER than the KE series. The other nice thing about Daikin is the temp setting on heat can go down to 50, which is good to keep a room that's not being used from freezing (other units only go as low as 65). I had this furnace installed in a manufactured home aka trailer home in the fall of 2015. It has performed well so far. My main complaint is the noise level. Considering that this type of home does not have a basement so the furnace is in the living space with you, it should have been designed to be quieter. 80 decibels is like having an alarm clock run for the duration of the cycle. My suggestion is to have a very experienced high efficiency furnace plumber install the unit. From what I now know all aspects of the system need to be in balance to work properly. My unit is exceptional and my wife likes the colored pictures designating the various modes of operation.
