Just purchased this minisplit system for a barn tack room and had it professionally installed, all went well and it is wonderfully suited for this room. It is quiet and efficient and so far is working perfect. We had very cold weather (single digits) and it heated the space effortlessly.

After waiting 26 days to get my Effinity 93 110000 btu unit, I installed it only to find out the propeller fan was very noisy. It is louder than my air compressor. Modine will not honor the warranty unless you use a professional installer. If you are a do it yourselfer, don't buy this unit. The propeller motor is cheap and creates a lot of vibration noise. A Great Little Fan Aug 16, 2016

I bought this in-line fan to pump warm air into a chase containing hot and cold water pipes. When outdoor temperatures drop below 15 degrees Fahrenheit, the air in the chase falls below freezing, so I was worried that the pipes would freeze. This little fan together with flex duct (I stripped away the outer insulation) solved the problem. Powerful But Rattles Jul 27, 2016

We purchased this to replace our old existing heaters as well as get more powerful heaters to heat up our space. These units are clean looking and powerful heaters, but they rattle and are noisy. You can see the metal bracket inside is loose and it was designed as a separator between the heat exchange, but it is not mounted security, so the air causes it to rattle.

Detailed instructions helped install our two fans. We have one working the garage, while the second unit is on duty in our attic. They are reasonably quiet, and the temperature controller is a good name brand known for consistency. I adapted a pleated air filter to keep the assembly dust free. We haven't noticed a difference in savings on our air conditioner operating, but expect to benefit when we will increase insulation throughout our attic.
