I bought this unit to improve the air quality in my pet room that contains a 600 gallon aquarium and 200 more gallons in the sump bringing the total volume up to 800 gallons. Away from home for the winter. Family checking our home found the problem, needed a new boiler. I was in another state, went online (this boiler was recommended by the professional), able to work well on your web site. Called a few times with questions, very helpful. Shipped out immediately. While I haven't yet installed the fan, I did unbox it and plug it in. I'm no acoustic engineer, but I could barely hear it operate and that was at the motor end. I'm not sure what 45 dB sounds like or maybe I'm hard of hearing - my wife tells me I'm hard of listening but this thing is quiet and that's with it strung out on the hardwood floor. I'm very pleased with how easy the installation was and the domestic hot water is fast and plentiful. I am amazed as to how quick the boiler heats and circulates the water through the system, I am curious to see how efficient it will be come winter.
