A family member installed a 22k BTU Mitsubishi mini split in his 4 car garage (also purchased from ecomfort), i was so impressed with his unit i had to buy one myself. I bought this unit to heat and cool an 500sq ft 2 car, garage with 14' ceiling in NJ. I insulated the garage and self installed. Installed my unit in April/2015. Live in the pacific northwest. Originally installed it as a make work project as I'm recently retired and didn't expect much. It works so much better than I had ever expected..heating or cooling. So much so, that I'm just in the process of installing another one for the bedrooms area. Upstairs vaulted ceiling bedroom was not getting cool enough. I was going to install a typical whole house attic fan, but needed something where I could mount the opening on the Wall rather than the ceiling. So I decided on QuietCool and very happy with my selection.

Checked on higher efficiency rated boilers but could not justify the much higher price. Until you make up the increase in price with the savings in fuel the unit would be 8 - 10 years old.
