I replaced my old Modine heater, with a new Modine heater and it works great. The old one, the only thing that went wrong with it, was one of the fan blades broke in half . The old one , didn't owe me nothing, I had it in my shop for 38 years.

Installed it in the bonus room above our garage. About 300 sq/ft. Insulated with 6" rolled installation, but ceiling being 6" under roof has a very high radiant heat effect in hot times of year. 9000 BTU's does job nicely. Can cool room to 65' to satisfy my most demanding guest from the north. But the most amazing thing is how quiet outside unit is. Our main house is cooled by a 2.5 ton conventional a/c. I replaced that unit in June with a new American Standard (Trane) a/c. On the back of the house is a Florida room 44' x 12' that was not air conditioned. Three sides of the room are sliding glass doors, circa 1989, overlooking a lake and facing east. Very impressed so far. Wish Goodman would offer support to homeowners (not just licensed contractors), but I understand that policy. The unit came with very complete documentation that is really all the info you need for a do-it-yourself-er.
