They are super quiet and their inverter technology and continuously variable speeds make them very efficient. They have several advanced features, such as scanning and detecting when and where someone is in the room and adjusting for maximum comfort and/or efficiency. Two months ago I purchased a LG 48,000 BTU Ac and heating unit. I installed it myself and just had help to get it started up directions could be more clear but it was fairly easy to do. I was even more impressed when I received my first Electric bill the month prior to installation I paid $251 I just received my bill with the unit installed in the middle of summer and my electric bill was $144 wow .very impressed and satisfied do unit is extremely quiet but powerful.

The heater was ordered on a Friday and I could have gotten it on Wed but I could not have anybody here to receive it till Friday. It arrived on Friday morning just as I finished taking out the old furnace. I had it up and running by Monday, I tried to get the new one as close as possible as the old one in output and so I only got the single stage.
