My contractor purchased the 151 combi from local warehouse. I just wanted to share experiences for the whole deal of getting this one. I had it installed a few days ago by a local contractor who claimed certified by Bosch. Technicians under supervision by certified plumber were struggling of how they were going to install and had it fired, back and fort with rewiring, and reconnect piping for a few occasions, saying they were difficult to install. Replaced an 80k BTU unit with this one. Install was a breeze even considering the old unit was a floor mount and this one hangs on the wall. My HVAC guy showed up just as I was completing the wiring and it took him about 30 minutes to program it and run through a cycle. It's fast! I took a half-hour long shower, and by the time I'd dried, dressed and went to the utility room it was on standby........

I finally got this installed and working. I like the copper heat exchanger and the compact size. I mounted the first one to concrete walls to avoid vibration above. It took some adjusting to get the louvers to stop vibrating and making noise. It looks like a slick little heater and I expect it will last longer than me. The only down side is the vibration from the fan. I'll have to cut the pipe and put in some vibration dampening. It carries the vibration through the pipes into the hangers... more
