Our new Mitsubishi makes our bedroom an oasis. This mini-split is ultra quiet and takes the humidity out of the air in short order. My husband (who is a Handy Andy) did all the preliminary installation with no problems, we chose to mount the outside unit on a stand made for mini splits rather than to our cement board siding. A licensed HVAC man came in to do the final vac of the lines to get it fired up, and we could then validate the warranty also. We find setting it at 68 degrees works... more

Love this unit! Installed in the fall, it cools well yet can put out satisfyingly uncomfortable amounts of heat when it's 20F outside and throttles down very low to match demand. Thermostat is rather unintuitive to use all its features and you have only one set of temps in auto mode, but if you don't mind switching from heat mode to cool mode yourself you can program it any way you like. My neighbor just spent $3500.00 having a new furnace put on, which for me was out of the question...I bought your furnace (same size) for $575.00 delivered to my door. I'm 75 years old and had it installed and running in 6 hours complete. And that's for changing electric, gas lines, upper plenum and lower base. It is energy efficient and was straightforward to install using the instructions provided and the appropriate tools (torque wrench, vacuum pump in addition to standard tools).
