Purchased this unit for the garage,which is my work shop. The installation was not difficult and very straight forward. Did have an HVAC person vacuum the lines as suggested. Both the indoor and outside units are extremely quiet. Very pleased with Daikin.

After waiting 26 days to get my Effinity 93 110000 btu unit, I installed it only to find out the propeller fan was very noisy. It is louder than my air compressor. Modine will not honor the warranty unless you use a professional installer. If you are a do it yourselfer, don't buy this unit. The propeller motor is cheap and creates a lot of vibration noise. Have been replacing slant fin through out the house for years. In the past used Runtal, this time Biasi. Wish that the American houses be build with the Euro panels in the first place - heat delivery, fuel savings, aesthetics, etc. no comparison. Runtal was a bit easier to install, more obvious as to in/out connections. Biasi has much more options and the instructions are not the best. I recently installed my QuietCool1560 in my gable, it's a nice install similar to the old unit I replaced. Old unit made it twelve years but was loader and shakier. If this unit lasts as long and uses so much less power I will be very impressed.Old unit cheaper up front but used a lot more power and had a 3 yr warranty.Quick delivery, came in undamaged packing. I am happy with the product. Thanks.
