The oil, a part of Freon makes most plastics parts brittle and replace indoor unit. This situation is a subject of recall, however, the company avoids ruining the company name offering free replacement parts for long period. I have repair three pin holes in one indoor unit. 5-star Quality Sturdy Assembly Easy To Install With Peace Of Mind. May 18, 2016

Detailed instructions helped install our two fans. We have one working the garage, while the second unit is on duty in our attic. They are reasonably quiet, and the temperature controller is a good name brand known for consistency. I adapted a pleated air filter to keep the assembly dust free. We haven't noticed a difference in savings on our air conditioner operating, but expect to benefit when we will increase insulation throughout our attic.

I bought this unit not knowing if it would heat my 19 x 21 kitchen, but to my surprise I have not had to turn the unit any higher than 4 and that was on a -20 day . So my wife is well pleased with me.
