We bought this set for our tea shop measuring about 800 sqft. We place one in the kitchen and one in the seating area. You can feel the breeze withing 3ft of the machine. We even use a laser and measured the temp to be about 64 coming out from the machine however if you wave the laser just a few feet away its 90 degrees...huge difference. My customers keeps complaining why we don't have AC but when I point to the mirrored AC device saying that we do...they said then fix it! We wasted so... more

The unit tends to leak through pinholes which are due to impurity of copper tube material from cheap production country. The oil, a part of Freon makes most plastics parts brittle and replace indoor unit. This situation is a subject of recall, however, the company avoids ruining the company name offering free replacement parts for long period. I have repair three pin holes in one indoor unit. I have used this product before. I would not do a shower using any other product. You spend a lot of time and $ doing a new shower, you should do it right. With this, I know everything is sloped properly, the products fit together and it will be waterproof. We used the shower for a few weeks while tile was on its way last time as the shower is watertight, even without tile.

Love this unit! Installed in the fall, it cools well yet can put out satisfyingly uncomfortable amounts of heat when it's 20F outside and throttles down very low to match demand. Thermostat is rather unintuitive to use all its features and you have only one set of temps in auto mode, but if you don't mind switching from heat mode to cool mode yourself you can program it any way you like.
