I just had a 2-ton goodman air conditioner installed. I had a carrier that lasted me for 18 years with only two very minor repairs. I don't like the goodman because in order to keep my house comfortably cool I have to put the thermostat on 72. When I put it on 78 like I did with the carrier, my house's temperature is warm. I do not recommend the Goodman air conditioners. I feel VERY dissatisfied.

The unit tends to leak through pinholes which are due to impurity of copper tube material from cheap production country. The oil, a part of Freon makes most plastics parts brittle and replace indoor unit. This situation is a subject of recall, however, the company avoids ruining the company name offering free replacement parts for long period. I have repair three pin holes in one indoor unit. Thanks for the opportunity to share my experience. I'm still involved with the installation that I am doing myself. Most is pretty straight forward but this is my 1st so I'm taking the time to learn. I was pleased with the delivery and all arrived undamaged except for the two part exterior chase. It was not wrapped in anything and appeared very dirty and scratched. I have used this product before. I would not do a shower using any other product. You spend a lot of time and $ doing a new shower, you should do it right. With this, I know everything is sloped properly, the products fit together and it will be waterproof. We used the shower for a few weeks while tile was on its way last time as the shower is watertight, even without tile.

I bought the furnace, evaporator coil with TXV and condenser. I was pleased with the way everything came packaged for shipping. Each piece seems to be built well so the installation went together quite well. The only thing I did not like was getting the TXV installed as there was not enough space to get the fitting through the wall of the evaporator housing.
