I have two of these units. The first one I bought was for my Business to handle Domestic Hot-water (via Heat exchange and snow melt operations) Units has been up and running for 2 years with short run cycles from 7-15 Mins.... (not a good thing) but it has held up like a champ. we use 160f water for our low temp dishwasher. Then a heat another Heat exchanger for the Snow melt system. Its difficult to believe I am the first to review this product. However this thermostat is difficult to program and seams to defy reason, when in heat mode and should be using the compressor unit outside to produce heat, it instead will be making expensive heat with AUX electric heat. I will probably dump this thing and get one I can understand how to use effectively.

I have used Modine free standing gas fired heaters for some 28 years in Greenhouse application. They say nothing last for 20 years, yet I have 2 of 18 that have lasted that long. Stainless burners are Ideal, a little pricey for me, but the new aluminum/steal burners are superior to the old galvanized

I bought this unit not knowing if it would heat my 19 x 21 kitchen, but to my surprise I have not had to turn the unit any higher than 4 and that was on a -20 day . So my wife is well pleased with me.
