I bought this in-line fan to pump warm air into a chase containing hot and cold water pipes. When outdoor temperatures drop below 15 degrees Fahrenheit, the air in the chase falls below freezing, so I was worried that the pipes would freeze. This little fan together with flex duct (I stripped away the outer insulation) solved the problem. This is the best product out there for a light fan combo. It's attractive as well as functional and super quiet! Follow instructions carefully as to where to mount the motor...

Not great... wish I kept my 40 year old one... it worked a hell of a lot better.
