I had it installed a few days ago by a local contractor who claimed certified by Bosch. Technicians under supervision by certified plumber were struggling of how they were going to install and had it fired, back and fort with rewiring, and reconnect piping for a few occasions, saying they were difficult to install. I love this system. It's been installed in my house for almost two years now and have no problems at all and all the hot water I need. I would recommend this to anyone replacing a hot water unit. Originally, I had a tankless coil in the furnance and that required the furnace to run all year long. Now, I can shut off the furnace during the summer. Also, this product is energy star compliant which means a payback from uncle sam during tax time.

I have one of these and am a bit disappointed when it's efficiency drastically decreases when the outside temperature drops below -10C or + 24F. Still I am very pleased with it. Now the inside unit 'chirps', what is up with that ? Does it need to be oiled ? Doug

I have used this product before. I would not do a shower using any other product. You spend a lot of time and $ doing a new shower, you should do it right. With this, I know everything is sloped properly, the products fit together and it will be waterproof. We used the shower for a few weeks while tile was on its way last time as the shower is watertight, even without tile.

Replaced an 80k BTU unit with this one. Install was a breeze even considering the old unit was a floor mount and this one hangs on the wall. My HVAC guy showed up just as I was completing the wiring and it took him about 30 minutes to program it and run through a cycle. It's fast! I took a half-hour long shower, and by the time I'd dried, dressed and went to the utility room it was on standby........
