I'm 75 years old and had it installed and running in 6 hours complete. And that's for changing electric, gas lines, upper plenum and lower base. A family member installed a 22k BTU Mitsubishi mini split in his 4 car garage (also purchased from ecomfort), i was so impressed with his unit i had to buy one myself. I bought this unit to heat and cool an 500sq ft 2 car, garage with 14' ceiling in NJ. I insulated the garage and self installed. It was easy to install and start up but in reading the manual no warranty is supplied unless the system is installed by a certified installer. The house was cold and it was Saturday so no option of contracting help. Gas furnaces are inherently reliable so probably not a problem but some warning may have changed my mind of self performing.
