Unit Woks Great But Concerned About The Lack Of Warranty Jun 06, 2016

It was easy to install and start up but in reading the manual no warranty is supplied unless the system is installed by a certified installer. The house was cold and it was Saturday so no option of contracting help. Gas furnaces are inherently reliable so probably not a problem but some warning may have changed my mind of self performing.

We surveyed several options for purchasing the DitraHeat and eComfort was significantly less than the other options. I bought 2 of these systems for my cabin in NC. Had previously purchased a similar Mitsubishi split for my FL home. They are super quiet and their inverter technology and continuously variable speeds make them very efficient. They have several advanced features, such as scanning and detecting when and where someone is in the room and adjusting for maximum comfort and/or efficiency. We purchased 75,000, 120,000, 150,000, and 200,000 BTU units, 28 units in total. The 83% efficient rating helped us offset the cost of the upgrade by being eligible for a rebate from our utility. All heaters were installed and work beautifully. The heaters look great!
